Réka is an integrative menopause expert and perinatal consultant with over 20 years of experience supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Her work combines childbirth education, pregnancy yoga, doula support, and emotional counseling to help expectant mothers stay aware, focused, and at ease throughout pregnancy and labor. Her approach empowers women to trust their natural instincts and draw on their inner strength during this transformative journey.
Réka’s background is enriched by her studies in ayurveda and breathwork, which bring a holistic lens to women’s health—not only during the childbearing years, but throughout midlife transitions as well. She supports women in navigating perimenopause and menopause with clarity, compassion, and practical tools for hormonal balance, emotional resilience, and lifestyle rhythm.
In addition to her yoga training, Réka holds degrees in childbirth education and has guided thousands of women with deep presence and insight. She trained with Dr. Françoise Freedman in pregnancy yoga (Level 1 – London, 2003; Level 2 – Budapest, 2005), and has been teaching continuously since then. Her personal journey with yoga began at age 16 in the Maheshwarananda tradition and continues to inform her integrative, body-based approach.
Now based in Bath, Somerset, Réka works with women across generations, offering both in-person and online support.
I am a mum of 2, a primary teacher with a specialism in physical education and an MA in early years physical development, and a Militray wife! I did both baby massage and baby yoga with my children and we continue to use the techniques and movements today! I loved the planned time and space to have that quality time with each child in times when everyone is so busy!
Happy Baby Class. Parent and Baby Nurturing Massage Class that is fun, relaxed, provides quality time for you both and includes a progression of massage techniques. We also include gentle exercises for parents and babies, relaxation techniques as well as rhymes and songs. Our final part of the session we provide an opportunity to have a drink and chat with other parents. A safe environment brining parents and babies together and. crating time and space for bonding.
Mountain Class. Parent and Baby Yoga class with elements of dry massage. This is a Yoga class for both parents and baby. A progression from the Happy Baby class with gentle stretches, movements and breathing exercises for parents, and we integrate simple yoga moves for babies and progress these and match the level and age to the baby’s needs. We use songs and rhymes and watch for babies cues. Opportunity for drinks and chat at the end part of session.
Tree Class, Parent and Baby Yoga class for Tots, walkers and up. Using song, stories, themes and movement to provide yoga for parent and child. I am a busy Momma of two who is fortunate enough to be able to teach regular baby massage and baby yoga sessions for Becoming Families in Worcester and Stourport-on-Severn. The sessions are completely baby-led with plenty of singing, bonding time and interacting with little ones. After introductions we start the sessions with the same songs and moves as a cue for little ones to know what’s to come. After the session we have a further half an hour to really catch up with one another and build a friendship group that is nurturing and supportive 🙂 I feel so privileged to be able to facilitate these gorgeous sessions which are as much for parents/carers as they are for little ones.

I joined the Birthlight team of teachers after completing my Pre-natal Yoga Diploma in 2006. I then went onto complete my Baby Yoga Diploma and Wellwoman Yoga Diploma. I have also completed a Birth Preparation Course. I have taught a Birthlight CPD on Prenatal Yoga.
