For Katrin, yoga is an everlasting exploration of the body and mind connection, a light-hearted search for freedom from tension. It is this connection, that not only yokes us to the present, but also to each other and nature. With baby yoga, she hopes to bring this lightness and loving approach to parenting, empowering mothers to more confidence in their everydaylife.
My name is Karen Wilson and I have been studying and practising yoga for over 10 years here and in America.
My training is recognised by the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). I am also fully insured.
My classes incorporate the philosophy of hatha yoga with the asana (postural work) and prananyama (breath control). I teach mixed ability classes, private on-to-one yoga, pregnancy, postnatal, baby yoga and baby massage. (Please check out these pages for more details.)
I started practising in Chicago as a means of meeting people whilst I was on assignment with my job. On my return to the UK I continued my practice, attending various classes whilst continuing my corporate job. In 2009 I decided to re-order my life and combine my passion for yoga with the desire for a ‘career’. I left my 9-5 job and started my teaching diploma. I started teaching my first class a year into my course – 10 years on and I haven’t looked back once!
I have been undertaking professional development in yoga for cancer (those undergoing treatment, post surgery and carer support), long covid and chronic fatigue syndrome as well as additional studies in menstrual cycle awareness and knee rehabilitation.
The last 10 years has seen a lot of change through my life, relocations, job changes, studying, pregnancy, motherhood and even the way in which I practise yoga. However yoga has been with me throughout both on and off the mat regardless of how small a time I can manage to fit in. The yoga philosophy has helped me come to understand and manage these changes and the time of my mat has helped me to hold onto something concrete whilst also understanding that even my yoga practise has to adapt with life.
For years I have been amazed by the connection between parents and their child. I chose to immerse myself into activities that promote this connection: prenatal and postnatal yoga, babywearing, nurturing baby massage, baby yoga and the Dunstan Baby Language. I live in Dilbeek, located right next to Brussels. Through my education and professional experience as a midwife and a neonatal pediatric nurse, I realized how valuable this connection is. As a mom, my two sweethearts continue to inspire me!

- Experience the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of a yoga practice, when your body may be in need of extra support.
- Use yoga practices to help heal your body, and ease the transition and journey, post birth into motherhood, and beyond.
We work with babies, children and teens (including children with special needs) to:
- Encourage whole brain development
- Help them find quiet and better access their own resources
- Encourage creativity
- Help them learn to listen to their body
Vera has been practicing yoga since 1992 and teaching from 2004 (holding teaching diplomas across number of disciplines from BWY, Birthlight, Yoga Therapy and Children Yoga). Vera has extensive training in meditation and mindfulness practices and has been supporting women as a birth and postpartum Doula since 2008.
Among her over 2000 hours of training in many traditions of yoga, yoga therapy and doula supporting work, Vera specifically focused on training in yoga nidra, hypnosis and restorative yoga as she feels that without restorative practice and ability to enjoy and come to terms with the stillness, deep transformation is difficult, especially in the current fast-paced environment and this stillness allows our bodies to restore health in a holistic way.
She brings this restorative approach to all therapeutic work she does with focus on provision of support covering all aspects of female lifecycle (from fertility issue through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond).
Particulars: Vera’s Birthlight classes cover well-woman, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum milestones in female life. They are held in small class environment and whilst largely based on Birthlight curriculum also include all the knowledge that Vera has gained in supporting these stages through her yoga therapy and doula work.
Group classes: The classes take place on Mondays, online format and are normally booked in blocks of 5. All details are on https://www.veradubrovina.com/events-booking/. To book your place please send Vera an email (info@veradubrovina.com).
One-to-one yoga therapy: this is held face to face in my studio in Earlsfield, all details are on https://www.veradubrovina.com/yoga-therapy/ and booking as per above.
Pregnancy and birth are such amazing experiences for women. Yoga complements these experiences beautifully. I am a mum of four, Midwife, Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and birthlight prenatal yoga tutor since 2015. Book one-on-one sessions and enjoy a physical practice in a nurturing environment, at a time and location to suit you. Develop elasticity and stability, connect with your body, your baby and benefit from breath awareness and deep relaxation.

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my profile.
I qualified in Integrated baby massage and yoga teaching in 2020. I teach baby massage and baby yoga classes but I am looking to expand my teaching in the next year.
I have been on maternity leave recently after having my third baby in September 2021 and as much as I am enjoying my time off, I am looking forward to coming back to classes and meeting some lovely new babies and parents/carers.
I am lucky enough to work with a lovely team of ladies at From Acorn To Oak With Love and have lots of exciting plans for the future.
Through the use of gentle techniques babies and toddlers at Giggle’N’Splash take their first splashes towards becoming independent little swimmers. Water allows for the closeness of skin-to-skin contact , encouraging a strong bond between adult and child. All of this is carried out in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere under the careful guidance of our fully qualified Baby Aquatics Teachers! Lessons are progressive in order to gradually build skills and water confidence, however each child is unique and is encouraged to progress at their own pace.
I’m Julie Bickerton, founder of Nomad Therapy, here to support and nurture you throughout pregnancy, postnatally and through menopause.
My philosophy is to promote positive touch and accessible yoga. Providing a safe space where we can be honest and open about our experiences as women and building a community where friendships are made.
After my training as a baby massage instructor and having my son, my fascination with babies continued to grow and broaden.
Now in my midlife I am expanding my experience to support women through this period of their incredible lives.
I feel very lucky in my vocation. I love what I do and I continue to learn from every woman and baby that I meet.

Baby yoga is great for your baby’s physical, neurological and social development. We gently assist their movement to harness their natural reflexes and curiosity, we also include some baby massage. Baby yoga is great for soothing babies, releasing frustration and helping with mood and sleep.
Part of the class will be postnatal yoga (adapted for dads/carers). We strengthen pelvic floor and gently build core strength, release tight muscles and learn simple breathing practices for relaxation.
It’s a lovely way to bond and move together with your baby at the same time as meeting local mums / parents.
If you find you want to rest or feed for most of the class that is absolutely welcome.
“My baby loves Georgia’s classes – even on days when she is overtired, as soon as the class starts she is all smiles and giggles. The yoga classes are definitely her happy place!” – Jennie
