EN:Women’s bodies are incredibly well prepared for gestation and childbirth. However, sedentary and stressful lifestyles compromise these innate capacities, not to mention how society conceptualizes pregnancy and childbirth as a medical event in which the woman has little or no power. I believe that yoga can help you live a healthier pregnancy and birth: to feel stronger, more mobile, to create the best possible ecosystem for your baby, to avoid debilitating aches and pains, to learn to use all the physiological tools that nature has given you. My classes are fun, intense, compassionate and full of information.
Búscme en Bruselas, Bélgica, o on line.

I’m Julie Bickerton, founder of Nomad Therapy, here to support and nurture you throughout pregnancy, postnatally and through menopause.
My philosophy is to promote positive touch and accessible yoga. Providing a safe space where we can be honest and open about our experiences as women and building a community where friendships are made.
After my training as a baby massage instructor and having my son, my fascination with babies continued to grow and broaden.
Now in my midlife I am expanding my experience to support women through this period of their incredible lives.
I feel very lucky in my vocation. I love what I do and I continue to learn from every woman and baby that I meet.
Pre Natal Yoga
These pre-natal yoga classes are perfect for ‘mums-to-be’ from 12 weeks onwards.
The gentle yet effective approach of these classes aims to internalise the practices and techniques in order to build a body memory that can be called upon with ease, instinctively in daily life, during labour and beyond.
Pregnancy yoga benefits include:
Increase awareness in body, breath and postural changes.
Expanding breathing capabilities in order to breathe for two, assist during labour and birth.
Pelvic awareness (unfold range of movements and as foundational support for the body).
Tone and release pelvic floor muscles in preparation for labour and beyond.
Boost energy and reduce fatigue.
Increase resilience and ease tensions in both body and mind.
Yoga for common pregnancy issues: pelvic girdle pain, encouraging baby into optimal birthing position, better sleep, etc.
Restorative yoga for mums to be & yoga nidra

How can I help you? My students and patients are typically women in their 40s who have struggled with persistent Low Back or Pelvic Pain (and the two are often linked) and find that these pains stop them doing what matters. If you have decided that it’s time to move forwards and you would like to use Yoga-based methods to help, with a teacher who also brings knowledge of healthcare, then I’m here to help. I help my students move more and worry less, feeling strong as they get back to the important things in life.

Anji
I am a yoga teacher with over 14 years of teaching experiencing, including many years of teaching pre-and post-natal yoga in East London. I have helped many hundreds of women to feel more comfortable, confident and relaxed during their pregnancies and births, and have welcomed back many of them on the other side with their babies – which is always such a joy.
In the words of one of my recent students:
“I would definitely recommend Sarah’s pregnancy yoga classes! They have been a real help to stay healthy and well during pregnancy, both mentally and physically. The class is tailored to pregnant mums, keeping our bodies fit during pregnancy, but Sarah also gives us very helpful tips about positions and breathing during childbirth. She clearly knows what she is talking about and she always takes her time for any concerns or questions. It never feels like she is on a schedule. The classes are more than just yoga. Each session starts with checking in on each other. It’s very helpful to share pregnancy concerns with other ladies going through the same thing. The community of pregnant ladies that we have built in Sarah’s classes is such a wonderful support. I can’t wait to join the post-natal classes with our babies later on!”
Please contact me or visit my website for details of my current weekly classes, or follow me on https://www.instagram.com/yogini.sarah/

Since 2003 Réka has taught pregnancy yoga continuously. In these 20 years, working with literally thousands of expectant mums, she has been passionate about helping them find trust, balance and love in their bodies – especially during pregnancy, at birth and in the postnatal period.

I run small prenatal and postnatal recovery classes from my studio in Wye near Ashford in Kent. I am currently running online prenatal and postnatal classes but am hoping to also resume studio classes very soon.
I started my practice in 2008 while travelling in India. Hatha yoga classes were my first experience. The more I practised the more I realised the needs not only of my body but the whole thing which is called “I am”. After came pregnancy – one, then another and I became completely sure about the fact that I am a woman. And my practice started slowly to change from static strict forms to smooth slow movements. I started to pay more attention to the feelings, emotions which come and go throughout the practice and I became more attentive to the sensations. I was fascinated by Birthlight approach in helping women preserve health, become strong and feminine altogether.
