Who	The Birthlight Baby Yoga Diploma course is open not only to qualified yoga instructors but also to other professionals working with babies from birth to two years. Yoga teachers with an interest in babies (particularly those already teaching infant massage, postnatal yoga or kids yoga) Health professionals (nursery nurses, health visitors, family support workers) with an interest in yoga Children Centres Staff (child development practitioners, family support workers, outreach workers) Practitioners of Complementary Therapies with a specialty in babies Mothers’ route to training’ (Birthlight apprenticeships)
What (description)	Drawing on a wealth of teaching experience over three decades, this course will equip both independent teachers and institutional staff with knowledge and skills to be able to offer simple, safe and tested practices in group classes or 1:1 sessions. As a parent-baby interactive practice, Baby Yoga brings out the essence of yoga as connection through breath, enhancing natural development as it unfolds and joint relaxation. Where	UK / Global (via Zoom) This course is taught fully online in live zoom sessions with the tutor.
When	9.30am- 2pm each day with short breaks 6 mornings on Weekends: Over 6 weekend mornings: 11,12,18,19th June & 9,10th July 2022 Please note 100% attendance is expected at the live zoom sessions unless prior arrangements are agreed. If you need to miss a session due to last minute illness/emergency please let us know ASAP so we can discuss how to help you catch up.

Qualification	On successful completion of all practical assessments, case studies and online assignments, course participants will obtain the Birthlight Baby Yoga Diploma qualification.
Contact Hours	24 contact hrs live on Zoom
Equipment:	For this training you will need a suitable demonstration doll to learn the moves, holds and practices on the course and to be able to demonstrate them to parents when you teach. We recommend this semi weighted doll here: https://touchneeds.com/60cm-3-4-month-size-dolls (they ship worldwide) or something very similar with flexible limbs.
