This CPD Day presents yoga-based resources developed by Birthlight to fill the practice gap between Postnatal Maternity Care, Expert Breastfeeding Counselling and new mothers caring for their newborn babies. The aim of this course is to impart practices accessible to all mothers to nurture their babies while feeding them, in the margins of the extensive but often conflicting information available to them. The objectives of this day are twofold: 1. to equip practitioners with multiplex techniques to facilitate the initiation and continuation of breastfeeding through promoting mothers’ ease and confidence and 2. to equip practitioners with research-based practices for supporting bottle-feeding mothers with practices that help them enjoy the benefits of nurture and closeness with their babies. This CPD Day presents yoga-based resources developed by Birthlight to fill the practice gap between Postnatal Maternity Care, Expert Breastfeeding Counselling and new mothers caring for their newborn babies.
