Birthlight Baby Swimming Tutor
Phoebe is based in Cambridge and has been teaching since 2018. She is a trained Birthlight Baby Swim and Birthlight Aquanatal Yoga teacher. She is also a qualified STA Baby and Preschool Swim Teacher, Swim England Swim Teacher and British Triathlon Foundation Coach. She has recently trained as an STA Aquatics Tutor, specialising in Baby and Preschool Swimming.
As a young child, Phoebe’s parents enrolled her into a Birthlight baby swimming group led by Françoise Freedman (Birthlight Founder). This wonderful introduction to the water laid a special foundation for what was to become a full circle journey into Birthlight teaching. Through her Birthlight studies, Phoebe has found great inspiration from the gentle water parenting approach and strives to teach with empathy and an understanding of the child and individual. She is passionate about providing a holistic approach, from the first introduction for babies and their parents, to the progressive independence of young children as they develop their abilities, skills and confidence.
Phoebe is ever grateful to have had the wonderful opportunity to train under the guidance of Françoise Freedman and looks forward to the next chapter of her career as she begins to develop as a Tutor.
