These pre-natal yoga classes are perfect for ‘mums-to-be’ from 12 weeks onwards.

Pregnancy yoga benefits include:
Increase awareness in body, breath and postural changes.
Expanding breathing capabilities in order to breathe for two, assist during labour and birth.
Pelvic awareness (unfold range of movements and as foundational support for the body).
Tone and release pelvic floor muscles in preparation for labour and beyond.
Boost energy and reduce fatigue.
Increase resilience and ease tensions in both body and mind.
Yoga for common pregnancy issues: pelvic girdle pain, encouraging baby into optimal birthing position, better sleep, etc.

I am passionate about women’s health, from conception, birth to menopause and beyond. The yoga classes I offer to women provide them with invaluable tools to help transform, empower and heal their body’s and minds in a gentle but effective way. I qualified in Birthlight Pre-Natal Yoga in 2007, and Post-Natal Yoga in 2008, and Well Woman Yoga 2020.
I am currently offering on-line group classes via Zoom and face-to-face 1-2-1’s.
I have been running Aqua Yoga classes in West Sussex for 10 years, specialising in one to one sessions. These sessions are tailor-made for clients to work supporting them with long term conditions. The Aqua Yoga sessions are also a complementary aid for injury and mobility. Sessions with larger groups can be arranged.
I also worked with children with disabilities, allowing them to obtain freedom in water through experiencing gentle Aqua Yoga.
One to one sessions and some group sessions are also available for pregnant Mums, as well as for recovery postnatally.
The sessions are based in private pools in West Sussex.
I joined the Birthlight team of teachers after completing my Pre-natal Yoga Diploma in 2006. I then went onto complete my Baby Yoga Diploma and Wellwoman Yoga Diploma. I have also completed a Birth Preparation Course. I have taught a Birthlight CPD on Prenatal Yoga.
I run small prenatal and postnatal recovery classes from my studio in Wye near Ashford in Kent. I am currently running online prenatal and postnatal classes but am hoping to also resume studio classes very soon.
Réka started practicing yoga at the age of 16 in the Maheshwarananda tradition. After working on her PhD at Oxford University and the birth of her 3 children she initially trained with Dr. Francoise Freedman in 2003 (level 1, London) then in 2005 (level 2, Budapest). Since 2003 Réka has taught pregnancy yoga continuously. In these 19 years, working with literally thousands of expectant mums, she has been passionate about helping them find trust, balance and love in their bodies – especially during pregnancy, at birth and in the postnatal period.
She is also a qualified doula, perinatal consultant, birth class educator, certified to teach yoga and ayurveda. She has taught one of the most popular birth preparation classes (in Hungary), and has attended births as a doula both at home and in hospitals. In the meantime, She has also taught womb-centred (well-woman) yoga and ayurveda practices for women of all ages.
In 2020 she returned to the UK to continue teaching in Chipping Norton, close to Oxford.
I teach antenatal mindfulness and antenatal yoga both privately and with my local NHS Trust. Whatever your interest, please get in touch to find out more about group courses or private classes. I look forward to hearing from you.

My passion is the miracle of the human body, this extraordinary vehicle that allows us to live in this wonderful, if challenging, world. Yoga gives us powerful tools to find fulfilment and tranquility during the journey of our lives. Sharing the gift of yoga is the best job in the world.
