Through the use of gentle techniques babies and toddlers at Giggle’N’Splash take their first splashes towards becoming independent little swimmers. Water allows for the closeness of skin-to-skin contact , encouraging a strong bond between adult and child. All of this is carried out in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere under the careful guidance of our fully qualified Baby Aquatics Teachers! Lessons are progressive in order to gradually build skills and water confidence, however each child is unique and is encouraged to progress at their own pace.
I am a Birthlight Tutor & teacher in Aqua Natal Yoga and Baby Swim. Hatha Yoga teacher & advanced studies of over 20 years, having tutored for Birthlight in UK, China and Russia. Originally from Liverpool, I now live in Northern Ireland and am a keen sea swimmer.
Studio and Zoom classes include Pregnancy and Post Natal classes for NHS Maternity units, Council facilities and Yoga Quarter Belfast. In addition, I deliver Pre Natal Couples Yoga, Parent and Baby Yoga and Toddler Yoga.
In water classes include: “Baby Bubbles” parent and baby swim, baby nurture up to adult swimming and Pre & Post Aqua Natal.
Kiki Katsikari is a Birthlight Baby Swimming teacher and tutor located in Greece. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity and Sports Science and a Master’s degree in Physical Activity and Quality of Life. She has worked with young children since she was 18 years old and became a Baby Swimming instructor in 2012. She continues to deepen her knowledge and explore philosophy linked to baby swimming.
Hope to be back in Business next year, as I truly miss teaching & the water environment .
