"What an amazing inspirational two days of study and celebration of womenhood. I really enjoyed the Birthlight Fertility yoga course and can't wait to bring this aspect to my teaching. A pleasure to meet such a wealth of knowledge and sharing. A truly nurturing and holisitic experience."

"Thank you birthlight for another inspiring empowering enlightening seminar.
It was refreshing to enjoy a seminar with Rosanna as the leading tutor. She set wonderful examples of bringing a team together and following the schedule while leaving time for what naturally comes up. Of acknowledging every participant’s ideas and questions. More interestingly she was amazing at disagreeing without being disagreeable! What communication skills!! Rosanna was really sensitive and smart at dealing with matters that could make some get defensive or even feel offended. Beautiful!!
Congratulations Rosanna, Elda and Birthlight for utilising the knowledge we share between us in Athens, but fail to share more often. This seminar made us realise there is knowledge, there is power locally.Thank you Birthlight for sharing the scientific knowledge of the present, for preserving and rediscovering the wisdom of the past, for bringing it all together around the world, transcending time and space, dressing it all up with love into the Birthlight spiral of joy!."

"Francoise Freedman’s workshop. I’ve recently been at Francoise Freedman’s workshop.
Her every workshop is a precious experience. You can quote her every word (e.g. “Feel your sympathetic nervous system awakening inside the parasympathetic one”. Or “forward bends are heart-openers!” “Mahamudra is essential for reprogramming, this is a physiological meditation”) Her every word is full of deep sense and based on years of experience
e and desire to improve her unique approach even further. I agree with Francoise as she noted that this yoga is not spectacular, it is about inner work, releasing muscular and emotional blocks, and profound exploration of your true femininity. I’d like to thank Francoise for sharing with us! I hope her new book she told about at the workshop will be released soon. And, of course, I’m looking forward to the next workshop with her!"

"The course seems to be very strong, though on the surface looked simple. The movements are unbelievably simple. But then you realize and get the understanding of your own feelings, you start to feel micro-nuances, as if you start getting acquaintance with your own body from beginning, you become more conscious. For me it was also the work with my mind. The mind of a new mum is very busy, is trying to cope with everything simultaneously. Postnatal yoga at this course makes you stop and pay attention to your inner world, to look at your baby with eye full of quietness and confidence.
Huge recovery work was done. I gave birth to a baby 9 months ago, but having started doing these exercises I realized how I need all these exercises before. The body was answering to the movements. In spite of the fact that I practice yoga for a long time my muscles were aching after the first day of the course, which meant that tremendous work was done. And of course would like to mention the manner of teaching of Francoise Freedman. Quiet, mild, ideas full of motherhood and wisdom… she managed to gave us more than I expected. This is a sharing of her huge experience. After the practices, I even looked over many things in my life. Francoise saw the whole picture paying attention to everybody. Everything was simple and vivid, but only when the course as over I realized how much new information I now posess. I am so inspired by the course and wish to have a successful practice. I also met interesting people, happу to become friends… it looks like a club with people having common interests, who are open and sincere."

"Thank you very much for these days! Thank you for knowledge, for flow, for unforgettable experience. This course also appeared a good supplement and extension of knowledge from Perinatal Yoga course. And of course, Francoise is a real Fairy! Energy that comes from her, probably gives even more than words."

"The course did not correspond to my expectations but changed my whole philosophy and I thought it was lovely to have a big change and a whole new thought process/model of teaching. I look forward to the 2nd part"

"It is interesting now to see my progression as I read back through my class plans and notes with the addition of your comments. It brings home how much difference the experience of teaching makes really quite quickly, and, of course, how much there is still to learn - both from experience and further study.
The coursework, with the teaching of a series of pregnancy yoga classes as well as time spent researching and pondering my lengthy answers to the written questions, was time-consuming but it really was invaluable to me, and Francoise's feedback made it even more precious in giving this course real depth and making me feel confident and ready to teach pregnant women.”

I feel that this course should be incorporated into “compulsory education” for midwives and student midwives. It brings both midwife and woman back into their bodies, balances, facilities and encourages the normal physiological and emotional factors that need to be in place to promote normal birth, pregnancy and well being. I loved doing this course and the journey it took me on surprised and empowered me.

The way that Wendy planned the course and the way that she put her passion and personality into the course, the professional manner that Rozy kept in her teaching inspired me a great deal.
